Trading Technologies Export Guide
Export Trading Technologies fills for Journalit from the TT Fills widget as CSV. This guide shows the supported view mode and export method so you get the fills-level file Journalit expects.
Bottom line
Export from the Fills widget in a supported view mode, use
Request download for the full date range you need, and import the CSV unchanged.
Overview
Fills widget source
Journalit expects TT executions from the Fills widget rather than a different widget or summary report.
Supported view modes
Use Detail, Continuous, or Price with Detail before requesting the download.
Pairing handled on import
Journalit pairs entries and exits automatically from fills data, including scale-ins and partial closes.
Do not edit the CSV
Changing column order, headers, or file structure can break parsing even if the numbers still look correct in a spreadsheet.
What Journalit expects
Most common mistake
If rows are missing or the import looks wrong, the first thing to verify is that the file came
from the Fills widget in a supported view mode rather than another TT export.
Export trades from Trading Technologies
Open the Fills widget
Open Trading Technologies and navigate to the Fills widget.
Switch to a supported view mode
Before exporting, make sure the widget is in one of these view modes:
- Detail
- Continuous
- Price with Detail
Request the download
Right-click inside the Fills widget and select Request download.
Choose accounts and date range
Select the account or accounts you want to export and set a date range that fully covers the trading sessions you want in Journalit.
If you split exports by day or period, keep them in chronological order when importing.
Download and keep the file unchanged
Wait for TT to indicate that the export is ready, download the CSV, and import that original file directly into Journalit.
Quick validation before import
Fills export
The file came from the Fills widget rather than another TT screen.
Supported mode used
The export was requested from Detail, Continuous, or Price with Detail mode.
Complete date range
The selected range includes all fills needed for the positions you want Journalit to reconstruct.
Original CSV
You are importing the TT-generated CSV directly rather than a cleaned-up spreadsheet copy.
