Featured platforms

Detailed support for the platforms traders ask about most: direct sync, file import, the exact export, and the honest limitations.

Direct OAuth sync for Demo and Live accounts, or CSV import from the Reports area.

Direct sync

Tradovate Trade Sync

Connect one or more Tradovate identities with OAuth on Journalit.co, then choose accounts, history, and journal mappings in the Journalit plugin.

Read the sync guide

File import

Tradovate CSV import

Reports → Orders export (CSV).

Read the export guide

Limitations

  • Connection management and synchronisation require an eligible Journalit plan
  • When the same canonical account is visible through two OAuth identities, only one connection can sync it at a time
  • Existing open positions are synchronised even when an initial-history boundary excludes older closed trades

Supported NinjaTrader brokerage accounts with Tradovate account access sync through the Tradovate workflow.

Direct sync

Tradovate Trade Sync

Connect one or more Tradovate identities with OAuth on Journalit.co, then choose accounts, history, and journal mappings in the Journalit plugin.

Read the sync guide

Limitations

  • Only NinjaTrader brokerage accounts that use Tradovate account access are supported; the connection is approved through Tradovate
  • There is no standalone NinjaTrader file-import guide today; accounts without Tradovate access are not yet supported
  • Connection management and synchronisation require an eligible Journalit plan

CSV import from the Orders or Trades tab, with a dedicated TopstepX adapter.

File import

TopstepX CSV import

Orders or Trades tab export (CSV).

Read the export guide

Limitations

  • File import only; there is no direct TopstepX API sync
  • The TopstepX adapter depends on your plugin version; Manual Mapping is the fallback
  • TopstepX may change export columns over time; a fresh export is the first troubleshooting step

MT4 uses FTP Trade Sync; MT4 and MT5 HTML account statements import directly.

Direct sync

MetaTrader 4 Trade Sync

Set up FTP credentials, publish scheduled HTML reports from MT4, then link each MT4 account.

Read the sync guide

File import

MT4/MT5 statement import

Account History → Save as Report (HTML).

Read the export guide

Limitations

  • MT5 has no Trade Sync; it is supported through HTML statement import
  • MT4 sync requires the FTP publishing setup described in the guide

Broker imports

Use the original CSV, Excel or HTML export from your broker. Each guide tells you which file to choose.

Choose the original broker export

Start with the file your broker gives you. Avoid opening and resaving it in a spreadsheet, which can change dates and trade IDs.
